Suggest a Term

Robert E. Sheriff is collecting terms and definitions to include in the next edition of the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Applied Geophysics, fourth edition. Applied geophysics is a rapidly evolving field. Approximately 50 pages of new terms appear in the fourth edition that were not in the third, an increase of more than 10%. If you have a term and definition to suggest, please submit it. Dr. Sheriff also welcomes any input on adjustments that may be necessary to current terms and definitions. Your contribution could enhance the currency and thoroughness of the next edition of this essential SEG reference work.
